After graduating from Denison University with a Major in Theatre and a Minor in Psychology, she moved to New York City which served as her home base for over fifteen years. In her travels, she came across a number of mentors who imparted their knowledge to her. Comfort Zone Correction: Unfiltered True Stories In Successful Selling is her book devoted to one such mentor who encouraged her to make her dream of combining travel and writing a reality.
